It's Been A While

It has been a week here for me. So many things have been going on. Living in people's country can be really challenging! Adapting to the environment and culture that is.

Still can't get a proper internet connection here. Think I'll have to set up a home connection instead. Class is gonna start soon so I better prepare everything early! These photos will explain everything that I have done throughout this week!

That's pretty much what I did the past week! My first class starts tomorrow at 8.30am! I feel nervous! Not because I'm a new student or something, I am because I'm scared that I won't be able to communicate with them well because of their accent! Gotta get used to this mate! See ya!

Past Week!

I actually planned to post on a daily basis but didn't manage to do so! Oh well, I'll just recap things with these Instagram photos! Anyway, any of you using it? Follow my account, afookies, though the username doesn't represent me, I still thought that maybe it would be a good idea to use it for awhile to get the brand around the social network! Basically, it was a week with A LOT OF baking, birthday celebration, chilling out and BBQ for lunch! It has been a great week for me and my family! Just a few days away till departure now as I'm writing this and somehow, I'm looking forward to bake more! :D

Happy Birthday Muhammad Abid!

Guess what! It's my little brother's birthday today! A day right after AFookies'. What a coincidence. My whole family kept on wishing him for his birthday even though we don't really know he would understand it since he's only 3 years old today! Love to see him smiling. Here's a photo of him!

 He was in my maid's room at this time, sucking up his bottle of chocolate milk! HAHA!

...and as usual, another batch of Oreo Pudeo and Butterscotch Cookies were made today. Had to bake more for AFookies! Orders are piling up and I am really grateful for that. The AFans are supporting wilfully and continuously! ;). Thank you guys! I guess tomorrow would be my day-off since I'm having a tahlil occasion at Syaira's house. Should be exciting!

Departure Awaits & AFookies' Birthday!

It's 1st of February today, AFookies' (www.afookies.blogspot.com) second birthday. Me and my business partner celebrated the special day with more baking sessions! Yes it was tiring. Just finished baking. Thankfully, many wished us and we are truly grateful for the support given by the AFans. It's been 2 years and we would never be here without you guys.

...and that tells something else for me. 12 more days to depart to Australia for my degree studies. Despite that I haven't been studying for about 7 months now, I'm quite excited to actually start this journey. Though, it saddens me when I have to face the fact that I'll be leaving my family behind. I'm gonna miss them a lot. 

This isn't just a visit like many families would do, go there for a week or two, and come back to Malaysia. I'm not saying that I won't be back, just that, I'm not sure yet when will I be back. This is the time when you really have to be strong and independent!

Oh well, nevertheless, I'll be 'documenting' a lot of stuffs from there! Gonna post a lot of interesting things that I might find...or not to this blog! Wish me luck!
